Dear All,
Please, find below the newest info from the CIAM Bureau meeting which happened a few
days ago.
In agreement with WADA, the FAI anti-doping policy changes from 2015.
FAI will not perform interim tests between the events (no RTP competitor pool will
be selected), it means that we wouldn't have to be available every day for testing.
Tests will happen only at some selected Cat 1 events (world and continental
champsand World Air Games).
Those, who have to use medicine having prohibited substance in it, can use the TUE
document (Therapeutic Usage Exemption, the form downloadable from the FAI web site).
The doctor have to certify the necessity of the medicine on the form, than it shall
be sent to FAI. After confirmation FAI sends the formback. The owner have to show it
up in case of a testat a Cat 1 event.
Regards
Andras
