Round Valley Dome.

I don't know what movies you saw of the Dome.

The sky lights do not create problem air currents. In the early morning they
do produce

some very light, gentle thermals that the gliders love. By late morning it
all stabilizes and the air is

very flyable. During our contest all ventilation is turned off.

We have flown F1D models in the dome for 3 years now and I have only seen
steering done twice.

Advantages include;

Parking right outside the entry door.

Rest rooms that also have showers.

Bottled water vending machines right behind the flight line.

Helium furnished by the dome.

Very clean ceiling.

Tables and chairs will be set up and waiting for you.

No problems with spectators.

For our annual contest we only charge $35. entry fee which includes any and
all events.

The Motel we use is a good one and there are three good restaurants in the
area.

In a few weeks I'll be sending out info on our 2015 contest.

Our annual contest is managed by the same club that has hosted the South
West Regionals

for over 60 years now.

We hope to see you in April for our annual contest.

Cheers,

Steve Riley
