Possibly adding FAI events to March contest at Racine, WI

Greetings.

I'm going to put out some feelers on this.

Jeff Annis and I are considering adding two FAI events to the Indoor contests going forward, particularly F1L and F1D. This would, I believe, be useful as a Team Selection event.

Racine is a nice CatII site with clean enough ceiling, only a couple of spots to hang up on and these are pretty rare. (Unless you have a Sova A6, which tends to end up in the ledge where the curved ceiling meets the walls on every single dang flight.)

We are thinking it would be an additional fee with a potential six hour flying window.
We don't yet know the particulars as we want to gauge interest beyond the two of us.
I don't imagine we get too many folks willing to fly in, but closer regional flyers may be interested.

The contest date has not been set yet, but it will not coincide with EAA's event.

Please respond on-list or off, doesn't matter.
I'll be collecting the responses and sending them to Jeff.
Really we want to see if it is of interest first of all, no commitment at this point.
