Mike, are you sure about those dates? I have this Email I saved from HG which indicates it is the following weekend:
"With Hops & Props taking place on March 8, 2015, we’ll have the FOLLOWING weekend, March 13-14-15, 2015, with contest flying the afternoon/evening of Friday, the 13th, and on Sat. the 14th."
At any rate, Don (and anyone else) should really consider this event id you have never been. It is not a typical contest for sure. The atmosphere is relaxed (other than friendly and intense grudge events mhhhm mhhm Ross Flyer, Garbage Glider), and it has an aviation themed summer camp feel about it. By far my favorite event of the year.
