I may be wrong, but I see nothing in the rules about covering. In fact
wingspan is the only restriction in the whole class set of rules that I
see. But what do I know, I haven't flown it yet.

3.R.1. Definition
Model aircraft which can only be flown in an enclosed space and which are
powered by
extensible motors and in which lift is generated by aerodynamic forces
