Micro lite film was the first of plastic or more pecisely polycarbonate films. I first used it in the ninties..../ soon after ultrafilm and super ultrafilm as well as lighter polymicro emerged so i switched to these. Micro lite was also available in metalized (silver) versions. It has very low stretch so i used it on folding wing posts on 65 cm f1d as hinges back in the days.....
