Hi Richard, As I said, I haven't found any colored plastic wraps that worked well for me when I tested them

on balsa. This includes wraps used for wrapping pallets, blue & green, besides the Glad red that I mentioned

previously. Clear wrap is another story, besides having my better half let me know "not to take her wrap to

build airplanes", I found that the Costco house brand Kirkland worked very well the one time I tried it, so I

didn't look further. I should tell you that I mix white wallpaper border paste (from Lowe's) with model

airplane canopy cement and a few drops of water . Roughly 10 parts border one part canopy diluted with

H2O to the consistency of half and half coffee creamer. Brushed on with an epoxy brush. I build my wings

flat to cover, so I can put flat weight on them while glue dries. What I think happens is that the border paste

is very rubbery and the canopy cement eats ever so slightly into the plastic wrap creating a strong bond.

You can experiment. I may even have a go at a clear plane. Good Luck!
