I've always used Vaseline to sick the film onto the frame. I take out the slack while it's on the frame and Vaseline allows me to do that unlike glue sticks. In my experience glue sticks grab too hard and tear the film when I pull on it. The down side is whatever you touch (ie the film) gets Vaseline finger prints on it. Take this for what its worth. You can ask Josh Finn about my covering skills or lack thereof.
