Jerry, I'm with Mike on this one. I really cannot see how covering with plastic is harder than covering with condenser paper, and what's more, the plastic doesn't shrink.
  
 I've built many, many A-6's, enough that I now usually need a little ballast to be legal. The problem is that they are fragile and unnecessarily so. They require me to dig into my stash of top quality wood, which is not the intent of the class and certainly isn't friendly to beginners. 1.5 micro Ultrafilm is much lighter than C-paper and definitely much easier to use. It's possible to get that stuff on the flying surfaces without even using a covering frame. Sure beats cutting C-paper for the perfect fit and all that nonsense. And then opening your box to find that the paper has shrunk and twisted your plan into nothingness.
