I have just got the following information concerning the Slanic elevator:
The cage was not detached and the rope was not broken. The rope came off
from the grove on the big wheel in the elevator machine house and was
falling down to the shaft. The safety break stopped the cage within a few
meters. One person of the two in the cage dropped down to his/her knee and
it was a bit injured.
