Mylar balloons

Hi all,

Bill Gowen graciously stepped up as the balloon guinea pig and ordered a mylar balloon from our Canadian pals. Unfortunately, they built him a 4' balloon instead of a 3', which is too damn big. I've negotiated a resolution with the balloon people: if we order 3 3' balloons, they'll replace Bill's balloon.

Bill brought the balloon to the Nats. While it isn't the prettiest thing out there (especially next to Harlan's), it will certainly do the job very nicely. It is light, helium-tight, and well constructed. Relatively cheap at about $100.

So, let's get this thing wrapped up. We need three people for the initial round. I figure we can each put our orders in individually, simplifying payment and shipping, etc., but I will alert them of the three initial orderees so that they can replace Bill's. After that, anyone is free to order at will.

I'm in. Who else? Once we get three, I will notify the balloon builders, and then we can order.

p.s. There are a few details that I think you'll want to specify when ordering:

 - Size (3' is the consensus)
 - Self-sealing valve or spout (they recommend the spout for deflation efficiency. They say it will seal fine during use)
 - Tabs for attaching the line (Bill attached the line to the plug in the spout. The tabs will be reinforced holes in a protruding flap of material)
