Update to the update:
The latest batch of OS Film has arrived. It seems the concern over wrinkles is largely unfounded. While there does appear to be a few circumferential wrinkles while the film is under tension on the big roll, they disappear as soon as the film is unwound. I'm quite certain I wrinkle the film more in my transfer process to the smaller rolls.
So the bottom line is, you should see no difference from the film you have been using for the past several years.
