Yes, it is likely that there will be improvements. It's hard to imagine that 35 minutes will be made, as that would be more than 15% improvement over the best so far. Viewed another way, a 35 minute 0.4g motor flight translates to a time of 52.5 minutes for a 0.6 g motor, and that is an incredibly high bar.
More of us will fly the new rules F1D at Lakehurst in the next couple of months. We'll be able to better tell just how super human Brett's flight was.
