Kent is a high Cat II site. At the 15m measuring circle, the height is just under 15m. The peak is about 2m higher but the area is cluttered with fans, speakers, and lights. To fly higher than 15m, one needs a tight, 6m circle and this allows circling between the girders in those bays with no fans or speakers (about every other bay). To fly no touch with a circle larger than 6m or with drift, one needs the plane to stay at or below 15m.

The ceiling does not allow scrubbing but many high time flights are made by flying into the girders and lights and hitting and falling. F1D's usually do not survive such flight tactics.

Jim Richmond had the high new rules F1D time of 19:55 at Kent last weekend (using spacers on a current rules plane). The flight was no touch with a maximum height (measured with a ranger finder) of 14.2m
