Leo,

 The problem with your suggestion is that the F1D community is not adequately represented currently. We can calmly discuss things until we are out of breath. It won't have much impact on what gets decided. There is a large disconnect between the people who know about the models and the people who are voting. The US representative was prepped, but apparently only several others were, too. The reaction of the F1D community clearly does not match the 22-6 vote.
 

 Unfortunately, this is not a time for calm discussion. This is a time to make it clear that current inadequate representation is unacceptable. If we do not speak up loudly and assertively enough about the problem now, then you all can join me in another few years when this happens again.
