Ambroid and Duco do not stick well to epoxy or carbon. But, both stick well to CA glue. Use the same method used with polyimide tubes. Coat the carbon composite with a thin layer of CA on the area where you want the Ambroid/Duco to adhere.

 Some builders put tubes into the motor stick and then slide the carbon posts into he tubes (just like at the wing spar joint). If one puts a slight curve or bend into one of the wing posts, rotating the wing post allows for adjustment of the wing warps. Lutz Schramm has been known to do this.
