Mike,
Are you sure you are not confusing Centre of Pressure with Aerodynamic Centre? Some blades have quite a lot of camber so the pitching moment could be quite high.

Center of pressure on a symmetric blade shape is still in front of the spar.
Torsion on the spar will cause some flare. I didn't mean like in the old days where 20-30% more area was in front of the spar.
Thanks for the info. If I ever get to fly in such a site, I'll be sure to have several props in that range.
