It's pretty interesting to me how concerned people are about the FAI rules when no such discussion has taken place about the rules process for AMA rules. Here are the people who decide the fate of rules change proposals for AMA indoor f/f rules and the districts they represent:

There are several people on this list that either have never been indoor competitors or are no longer indoor competitors. Several can only be reached by snail mail. When a highly technical rules change proposal is submitted it would be desirable to have active, experienced indoor competition fliers deciding on whether to accept or reject the proposal.
