I've got enough polymicro around to make several pennyplanes and plenty of appropriate wood, but am somewhat limited on prop wood (could plane some down to thickness perhaps). If I were to volunteer to produce some pennyplanes, how many would be needed, and how would they get to contests? If we were to have this be a "pass it around" thing, does someone out there have a good box to store them? I'm thinking we should have at least 4 of these models.
On another front, the "High Time of the Day" or other scoring data could be provided via a white board with built-in stand. Those are readily available out there and would be a worthy investment for use at all contests.
Some signage is definitely needed for contests at big sites where there are spectators likely. I'd be willing to contribute toward that. Again, tripods or other stands to hold the signs would be a good idea so you're not having to tape signs to doors and such. All signage should make clear the message "Visitors Welcome", though some requests for slow walking and alertness would also be nice.
