 Remember when we started evaluating tipplates on F1D wings about 1 1/2 years ago and people thought we were crazy. Our glides tests showed about a 5-10% sink rate improvement. When I started experimenting with the VP prop in 1972 as a high school student at that time they also thought I was nuts. This is how innovation advances one has to challenge the status quo.
