EAA Family Fun Fest, and indoor fly.

 I just wanted to thank all the folks who showed up for the weekends EAA meet. This flying session really makes for a great low key time with a small dash of competitive flying. This event has become a "Go To" indoor flying opportunity for the folks in the know bringing in world class flyers every year. Its laid back fun atmosphere combined with the opportunity to give the spark of model aviation to over 750 kids over 2 days hits the sweet spot in a way that few indoor events can do. Great catered dinners included in the entryt fee and staying at the staff lodge rocks. Hanging out with a horde of historic aircraft and setting up your flying table under a P-38 doesn't hurt either. The Eagle Hanger is actually quite a good site to fly as noted by the times, over 45 seconds in standard CAT and reputable times in Ministick, 8 minutes, F1D 25 minutes and other events show that even if the site isn't perfect knowing how to fly it is where you win. Hope to see more people come out next year, if you don't come your are certainly missing it
