 Jake, maintaining F1D as a high level event is hard work, and if we want to keep the current rules, we're going to have to bite our tongues and stop making remarks like this one. I've felt like doing the same thing a time or two, but as a former outsider to F1D, I can tell you that remarks of that sort really, really damage the interest of potential participants. I'll go so far as to say that several of my fellow fliers during those days refused to try F1D or anything like it purely because of their perception that the F1D crowd have a bad attitude. I don't think that's true, but it was a valid perception--one we have to dispel if we want our craft to succeed.
