I've had the opposite experience with 3M77.
It weighed more after application and didn't stay stuck.
Plus it is really really stinky with the Naptha. Everyone complains when I break that stuff out.

Best Test paper cement is better than anything else I have tried.
Just a matter of getting the mix right. And no one complains about the smell.
