Travel from Bukharest to Slanic to World Champs

I am arriving in Bukharest on Saturday, the 29th March around noon,
and would need to travel to Slanic. I wonder if anyone is traveling
about the same time, and would be interested in sharing a ride. Looks
like renting a car for the whole week would cost about 200+ euros, but
a car is not needed in Slanic... I found a shuttle service that
charges 80 euros for ride on a small car (up to 3 persons), using that
would cost for a single person about as much as a rental car.

Some page estimated that a taxi ride would be only around 40 euros, I
just wonder if anyone knows how reliable the local taxis are, and if
it would be possible to fix the price beforehand?

Of course there is also the option for taking a taxi to the railway
station, then a train to Ploiesti, a short walk to bus station and a
bus to Slanic. But with all models and gear, that is a bit too much of
an adventure....
