Not to be a downer, but a carbon fiber motor tube won't work for F1D.
 Carbon fiber has a density somewhere around 100 pounds per cubic foot. To
get even close to a comparable weight you would need a wall thickness
around .0005". Even a smaller diameter tube won't get you close enough to
matter.
