I wouldn't see why not if it is just a tube, Phedon.

But I don't think such a thing is possible with current materials available to us. Maybe when graphene becomes inexpensive enough.
Epoxy is heavy and you'd need a lot to bind the fibers to make it strong enough.

If you can get a 12" tube down to 125-ish milligrams, you'd have my order just for curiosity's sake.
