Re: Is there a market for...

I'm still trying to figure out why a fully assembled VP mechanism is allowed and apparently accepted by all, but an unfinished prop outline would not. It is just odd, jarring even, to my thinking.

I tend to think of F1D as needing more fliers.
One of the biggest impediments are the barriers to entry.
Knowledge, specialized skill sets, jigs. Many items needed are near impossible to obtain.

I am not at all against the BOM rule.
But let's fact the facts: it is a significant barrier to entry.
And I am *for* reducing those barriers so we can have more fliers.
How can we do that?

Selling the tools needed.
Selling the jigs needed.
Passing along the knowledge.
Passing along the skill set is not always possible though. Maybe you just don't have the space or time to learn composite work.

Is there an answer? Or will F1D forever be relegated to this 'elite'?

Regards.
