Poor turnout, just George Nunez, me and a bunch of jet, rocket and u-control types.
The upside was we all got a chance to spend time not only with George's magnificent fleet, but to see his masterful trimming techniques. The P-51's flew right off the table, have been already dialed in, but the Corsair hadn't been flown before. Everybody knows that model Corsairs, especially with scale, or near-scale dihedral, can't fly.
Starting with lightly powered glides from shoulder height (he's tall) on a concrete floor, and proceeding per his procedure, after 8 or 10 trials, each with a trim fix and little more power than the one before, George had the thing flying the way we mortals can fly Hangar Rats.
