Bill, Thanks for the photos.
The AWScales site indicates that their digital scales have a 10 year warranty. I wonder how easy it is to get that warranty honored if you by thur Amazon, etc.
Probably costs almost as much as a new one to send it back.

I bought 2 of the smaller scales at the $12 price. One has quit already but the other is holding up okay and is very accurate.
