two lamps you need to salt mine.

Uh, now I'm at total loss! 100W halogen produces about 1000 lumens, while
the range of the other lamps is from 500 to 5000 lumens. So how much is
needed?

The friend of a friend rides enduro motor cycles, and uses strong led lamps
to light his way. He borrowed me a 900 lumen headlight, that (he said) is
good to see the track in woods. However, when he comes to a field, where a
wider light is needed, he turns on his 3500 lumen light. But he was not too
eager to borrow that, as he claims that the light is so bright that it is
dangerous....

So one way to figure out how much light is needed: are the torches that you
have been using in the mine so bright that you need to be extra careful not
to turn them towards anyone's face?
