For those who haven't seen my Geauga post sanding tool here are several pictures. A number of years ago I suggested to Wayne that something similar to Ray Harlan's post sander might be useful to indoorists. After trading some suggestions back and forth this is what he came up with.
I normally chuck a piece of wood in my Dremel and feed it in at slow speeds, taking a number of small cuts to reach the final size desired. I actually hadn't used it for several years until I recently started changing the posts on most of my models to bass instead of balsa. It is really excellent for producing accurately sized bass posts.
If anyone with machinist skills were interested in producing it and if they got permission from Wayne I would be willing to produce a set of working drawings.
