 Polyimide tubing is compatible with CA adhesives. This is a design property of the material. And, we can use our cellulous based glues like Ambroid and Duco with polyimide by just coating the polyimide with a thin layer of thin CA. Cellulous based glues adhere well to CA (partially as a result of both being soften by acetone). Five to six pound/CF balsa is weaker than such a joint as I have earned from the polyimide tubes pulling off a layer of balsa rather than the glue joint failing when mishandling or crashing my planes.
