I'm adding another category to the voting. The third category will be
"prefer 2 days but will pay for 3 days". So far there is one vote in
this category and 9 for 3 days.

Only 3 people have expressed a preference for 2 days or 3 days and all
have preferred 3 days so far. I'd like to get a clearer picture of what
we want before deciding.

Just to be clear, if we book the site for 3 days I think the total fee
should be split equally among the total number of fliers. Making the May
2 date optional at an extra charge doesn't sound like a great idea. Let
me know if you have feelings one way or another about this.
