You should hunt for a "million candlepower" searchlight. I have a 10 million candle power light that the US team has used in the last few WcH's in the mine. LEDs are too weak for this application.

Ok, how much is "powerful"? I just saw an ad advertizing led lamps with
550 or 700 lumens; would they suffice? Would someone have examples of
lights that are strong enough, or how many lumens is needed? Thanks!
