Hi LeRoy.

Say you want a 14" loop that weighs 1 gram. 1 gram is your desired loop weight. You cut a bit of rubber 29 inches long (gives you some tying room). You weigh this cut section. You measure the width of the cut section. Then strip to the width calculated to get the 1 gram 14" loop.
