This is why I put the spars on the bottom not the top. This image stuck

A higher percentage of the total lift is generated on top of the wing
not the bottom. I recall in general terms being told that approximately
2/3rd the total lift from upper surface and 1/3 from lower so it m,akes
sense to dirty up the lower side instead of upper side. As far as
Newton, as long as your going hypersonic Newton works pretty good :-)
