In the last issue of Nats News, Brett refers to the "Gowen prop" in LPP.
What are the details, is the carbon shaft intended to produce/control
the flare?
The reason I ask is that for a limited F1M (small prop, no VP) I would
need a prop with lots of flare, but that would still be strong enough to
withstand collisions and ceiling scrubbing. I think balsa blades thin
enough to flare would be easily damaged, and wonder if the carbon shaft
would provide a better solution?
