1/2A rules and possible postal competition

I was asked to post the 1/2A rules online and give a quick overview of the
event. It's a creation of Wally Miller and we fly them at our local
Willamette Modeler's Club events as well as Kibbie Dome. They're similar
in size to mini-stick, but they have a lower minimum weight and no wing
span restriction which opens up the design options. The plan is to add
1/2A to the next mini-stick and A6 postal competition if there is enough
interest. The rules are below.

Minimum weight - .010 oz (284mg)
Max wing area - 15 square inches
Max stab area - 50% of wing
Max motor stick length - 5-1/2"
Fixed pitch prop
