So I've been thinking about this for a while now.
One of the biggest pains for F1D is cutting fuses, stubs and tailbooms. I have several tailbooms that don't fit any of my current fuses for instance.
Assuming that builders use a 0.25" mandrel for the fuse and a Harlan tailboom form, it should be trivial to create laser-cut forms you can lay on top of wood and cut around. All parts would be essentially the same and therefore be interchangeable. The stub form could be made longer or shorter as the builder wants.
Additionally a part or two could be created for the webbing for front and back.
Would people be interested in purchasing a set made up like this? I'd be happy to do a short run of these similar to the Jim Jones rib cutter I did earlier.
