Bill,
I spent some time last Friday with Emil Schutzel & Larry Coslick discussing the recent Kibbie Dome event. Emil experienced the same frustrating A6 performance issues that you had, but both Emil & Larry had other airplanes that flew very well. Same as you did. So, that would seem to eliminate "bad air" & "bad rubber" as a good explanation. Did you ever reach a plausible conclusion as to what was causing your A6 to misbehave?

Contrary to popular opinion - at least to what I used to think - my A6 is not unbeatable. I had a pretty dismal showing at Kibbie and got beat on the last day by Andrew. I just couldn't find any combination that would get me to 9 minutes and this was after 2 while days of flying nothing but A6.
