I just checked the National Records list again this morning to verify the information before sending Greg Hahn a message & the AMA has already made the necessary corrections to the A6 Cat. II record & corrected the date on the .PDF file.
I do not know if Bill contacted them already or maybe they are monitoring our discussions, but either way that was quick!

Both are supposed to get certificates even if on the same day. The one latest in the day will be the new record. I think I have a Cat 3 certificate even though Tom beat me on the same day.

If one person sets a new record & then it is broken, for example one week later, will they both receive record certificates? Assuming they both file the necessary paperwork in a timely fashion. How about one day later at a different contest?
