That sounds like fun.
It was fine the way it was- I was saying to Jeff on the way back that I really should find another event too. Maybe F1L or given how well the LPPs flew, maybe my own LPP (as long as I don't compete against my kids - that wouldn't be fair.) Something not as fiddly as F1D for when I fly with the kids.
But as you correctly pointed out, they had fun, their planes flew great and they learned a lot. I don't quite trust them with loading motors, but they did a good job winding and learning how to write down in a flight log. Maybe a couple more juniors in the pipeline? I can hope.
