We just got done flying at "Da Dome" we had about ten contestants including some new ones. Weather outside was sunny and around 60 degrees. the site does have some difficult morning air that results in some "lift" that is evident. The cool thing about that is the glider event is always in the morning until noon and you can actually set you models in the zone and get several extra seconds, its the only site I have seen where picking lift can get you to first place. I got by butt Kicked by Mike Keller when he was using this method.
Afternoon air settled nicely each day and flight to the roof without drifting were the norm. There is also no way to get hung up on this roof. Everyone had a god time and as I start to get to know this site I am liking it better and better. The chances with glider are pretty fun stuff, picking air indoors!!
