I always put my glues etc into checked baggage, but once (at Helsinki
airport) they even took off my epoxy and cyano (traveling to outdoor
contest) from my bag. I then send then datasheets of the stuff, stating
that there are no ICAO restrictions on such glues, and they sent them
back to me! And since I have always packed my glues again into checked
baggage, together with their letter in which they apologize for taking
them off in error.... :-)

For celluloid glue (Uhu Hart) and acetone, I have always put them into
my toiletry bag in checked baggage, so that it looks like some tiny
bottles of cosmetics. Have worked so far...
