Took a MKV to school, got a few flights in between classes. This one
has a 9% Simplex airfoiled wing, with 300 to 400 turns 3/32 SS it was
doing from 30 to 50 secs. but "rattling", checked the prop, way out of
balance so tried to scrape it with my knife and succeeded in knocking
the rudder off.
I've also go a 6% wing, think I'll try that next week. The 9 really
flew nice and stable, the wind fans didn't seem to bother it much either.
wombat - also got a "Yen-to-fly" to take and amaze people.
