John,
Point taken on who the "NFFS" is!
I have never flown P-24, but I did check with Tem Johnson who does. After some discussion, one suggestion would be to allow those who have the Mace props to continue using them if they want to because the event has a minimum weight which negates any weight advantage of a lighter prop. People with existing models would not have to modify them to adapt the new prop & still meet the minimum weight. Tem was not sure what other props are currently available so could not comment on their weight & efficiency. If the decision is to only allow currently available props, he will not have any issue with that either, as long as the decision is made & announced soon.

Hi Gary,

"NFFS", as it applies to our Indoor world, is us :)

I have uploaded a preliminary version of the supplemental event rules to the files section.

We need to resolve the P-24 prop requirements. Previously, you had to use the one supplied with the Mace kits. It was a nice, light 7" prop. Unfortunately, that one is no longer available.

I am leaning toward just switching to an available prop. That means people with the old props will have to change. It also means that we will likely have to use a heavier, lower performance prop. But, at least it will be the same for everyone.

Comments?
