You have indicated the blade is breaking, not the prop spar, so I am not clear on how a stronger/longer spar will help. C grain prop blades should help. How heavy is the model, less rubber?

Good afternoon, Mike: I've been forming the blades on either a salt
container - about 3" cylinder or a dried prune can - about 4" tapering
to 5". About 6 lb 1/16" sanded down to 1/32. Blades seem to work OK
just not strong enought to take the hits.

Model is pretty heavy too, wombat
