Hi Neil.

Try a toothpick first. 1/32 thick c grain for the blade. You could notch out the center of the blade or glue the toothpick to the front side of the blade.

A bleach bottle with a 15 degree reference line should work reasonably well. Or I could set you up with a prop block.
