My bluff?? In what sense was I bluffing? I am merely claiming that there is no significant canon of secrets being held by the USA F1d community, yet for the third time now you make a post here prefacing your post with an oblique gripe implying that F1d flyers are for some reason keeping you in the dark, or don't want to share simple info. Seems to me that if there were a couple secretive F1d flyers, such an approach (yours) ought to do nothing except entrench them further. And those who are perpetually glad to share anything may be justified to now join the other selfish group of "some"--whomever those some may be.

Thanks for that opportunity you are simply giving me.

Ok, since, the "grainy drawing" didn't provide everything you wanted to know, and since in the same accompanying article(INAV 123) I provided my email address prominently at end of article, (assuming people may write for clarification about anything unclear) and since you are now graciously giving me the simple opportunity to, uh, (?) back up my "bluff," I'll go and measure every width at say, 9 different radii. Realize this is just the Fliagra prop from Sacramento 2008, and I didn't even touch that prop for last several Cat 1 flying opportunities I've had. The overall area and/or diameter now seems a little too small, IMO, which wastes RPMs using excessive energy. Until we get closer to Orsovai Deszo's Cat I times, it's probable that such a small blade and/or diameter is already maxed out, (yes, for good AMA times in perfect conditions) but NOT the correct direction for achieving more time. The essence of indoor growth is not to assume there is ever one "correct answer" but instead there are "workable options" where the goal is to find compatible options that work together. Sure, copy my blade if it works with your style--I believe it won't. This is why most indoorists don't bother to report EVERYTHING--because everything is not significant. Or in a few cases, are a distraction. For a starting point, sure, copy something that works well for someone else. We all do that some time or other.
So here's my 08 Cat I prop widths at 9 radii, which should plot out to very close shape, considering it's symmetrical. These widths are listed as if blade root were at center hub, but obviously it's mounted to get 17.6" diameter prop with blade length 7.5" long. (See drawing in Files section--not grainy at all. Thanks for the drawing, Bill Gowen.)
Root (wood) at 0" R: .062" width
1.00" radius: 1.375" width
2.00" R: 2.00" W
3.00"R: 2.25" W
4.00" R: 2.250" W
5.00" R: 2.062" W
6.00" R: 1.750" W
7.00" R: 1.187"
7.5" R: .032"
