Explain what you're doing to an outsider. Watch their eyes widen ("You're
doing WHAT?"), then narrow ("This guy needs some serious help!"), then the
cocking of the head ("He's kidding, right?) and finally the squint ("Good
Lord, he's SERIOUS! I wonder if he might be dangerous to himself or
others?).
